Heart Centered Learning® leads to Heart Centered Living™

Coming Soon!

Currently millions of global bystanders are waiting with an increasing sense of doom as politicians strip away the foundations and guardrails of democracy in the United States. As bystanders, we feel a sense of hopelessness. Yet, even in the midst of chaos and increasing doubts about the efficacy of societal practices in the US, we can find ways to prevail and perhaps even to turn the tide.

Dr. Mason with Yanik Mueller, host of Why Knowledge Matters, in their upcoming series Agree to Disagree provide basic guidelines for applying mindfulness and Heart Centered Learning® practices that many have promoted for schools, including practices developed by the Center for Educational Improvement, to the larger realm of society in general. We realize that compassion does not come easily for all children. Similarly, some adults do not gravitate to compassion. For children, we have suggested a program that is consistent with guidelines from CASEL.

Based on research conducted by the Center for Educational Improvement, including our $3 million grant with Yale University from the US Department of Education for the Compassionate Leadership Academy, learn about practical strategies to turn the tide to cultivate happiness and well-being for all, even in the midst of current political derailment of long-standing democratic practices. Participate in discussion and mindfulness exercises and meditations to apply conscious Heart Centered Learning to global societal problems.

With Heart Centered Living™, Dr. Mason takes a step forward to provide a platform for bringing the 5 Cs (consciousness, compassion, confidence, courage, and community) to adults – circulating ideas on the utmost importance of compassion to our world today.

Stay tuned—we will be providing ways to connect with us as you apply Heart Centered Living in your own live. This includes our latest meditation, “We’re All in This Boat Together.”™

Once you’ve practiced “We’re All in This Boat Together” with Dr. Mason, this is a meditation you will want to use over and over again – a meditation to help uplift you, reinforcing a sense of hope and well-being, even in the darkest of times.

Note: Agree to Disagree podcasts will be starting in July 2025!
